The swiss tech metal band Prograss consists of 5
members (Vocals: FC, Synths: Noize Alchemist, Guitar: Sam & Pat,
Drums: Mike). (vocals, keyboards, 2 guitars, bass, drums). Formed
in 1997, Prograss was rapidly known as a "Rammstein" like, yet more
profound monster-machine of techno rock. As a consequence of the
smart mixture of live played Rock/Metal elements and "on-the-edge"
techno loops, the band meets a broad-banded audience: techno freaks
and metal heads as well.

The members of Prograss play with sheer energy and raw power, which
makes the heartbeat of everyone who likes hard music go faster.
In the area of zurich, switzerland, the band played as a supporting
act for germans "Such A Surge" as well as for the U.S. band "OverKill".
Apart from other gigs (various open airs) this are the most outstanding
showcases till 2001.

The longer the band members used to play together, the tighter
their music and arrangements got. By jamming together, they found
an own style with a high recall value. In 2002, the band participated
at the european "Emergenza" contest and reached the swiss finals.
So Prograss had the opportunity to play at zurich's "Volkshaus".

By the end of the same year, the famous Pop/Rock producer Tom Jackson
happend to hear a Prograss Demo-Cd. Sceptical at first, he decided
to join the band at their rehersal room. Blown away by smoke and
playing, Tom decided to "record a BEAST".The band and Tom agreed
to go for a 3 Track PreRelease Cd, which was recorded at "Basel
Citystudios" in switzerland by the end of 2002.The result is, what
it was supposed to be: blasting, massive.
Now, the members of Prograss are looking for a record/distribution
deal to continue their music on the next level.
